This was the last print executed by Robert Motherwell.
The print and colors 534-536 were in the edition phase when Motherwell died in July 1991. Only the BAT was signed. The remaining impressions were embossed with the artist’s estate chop mark and numbered by Catherine Mosley and Joan Banach.
